Ohio Ski Resorts Opening News!

All three of our favorite Ohio Ski Resorts have started making snow and an official announcement has been made by Mad River Mountain that they will open Tomorrow!  We have heard unofficial word from BMBW and Snowtrails but we can't comment on that yet..

Official Opening Day Announcement

Mad River Mountain will be OPEN Saturday January 2nd, 2016 at Noon with limited lifts spinning & trails open for Skiing and Snowboarding! We will remain open Saturday for the first session of Midnight Madness and have slopes, lifts & lodge available till 2am.

More specifics on Opening Day 2016:

This morning we have begun pushing out the large piles of manmade snow that have survived the Christmas week of rain and warm temperatures. 

Right now with snowmaking currently going on and continuing over the next 5 days, we are able to determine rough draft snow report of lift service and trails open for Opening Day - (Subject to Change)
