Neon Bandits Announces Launch of Men’s Lifestyle Sock Line

New Sock Line Attempts to Close Gap Between Dress Socks and Athletic Socks for Active, Millennial Men

BOSTON – June, 2015 – Boston-based entrepreneurs, Samantha and Dan Cohen, announced today the launch of their company Neon Bandits. Their inaugural sock line features three different designs, which will be available for purchase online and at various retailers around the country.

As a brother and sister duo, Samantha and Dan came up with the idea for Neon Bandits while traveling independently for work. They individually noticed a void in the men’s sock market. While there are many options for dress and performance socks, men did not have an in-between option to wear with strict lifestyle fashion in mind, and hence, Neon Bandits was born. Neon Bandits aims to provide a next-level sock to meet the needs of today’s stylish, millennial man. No more need to wear dingy tube socks or nice dress socks with their kicks, Neon Bandits is here and ready to add some swag to street style.

“As a guy who has worked in the lifestyle apparel space for a long time, and as a sock junkie, I saw the need for a cool pair of socks that would make a splash while wearing lifestyle sneakers,” said Dan Cohen, co-founder, Neon Bandits. “My sister, whose background is in retail consulting, saw the gap too and we knew we had the tools to come together and impact the market.”

The inaugural Neon Bandits line will feature three different designs, The Ozz, The Dawson and The Flip, in a variety of colors with that ability to mix and match for optimal style, a trend the Cohen duo noted is on the rise. The socks are a blend of acrylic, spandex, polyester and natural latex rubber to ensure they maintain their fit and function. Neon Bandits are one size fit most, fitting men with shoe sizes 9-13.
